Dear aspirant;
First of all you must have in your mind that the ranking in Jee mains is decided on the basis of your Jee mains score(60 %)and percentile of your heigher secondary board(40%)(this was criteria up to year 2016,later on it may vary) .So if you are topper in your hsc board then minimum 200+ score in Jee will be required to get into CSE at NIT Trichy else you must have to score 250+ to get into it. By any of the mean you must get the rank below 500 in Jee mains, if you are obc student. Other than this lots of things matter during admission process which includes cast reservation,state quota reservation, special reservation for DASA students and lot of other things. So please don't mind about your rank and admissions .If you are really preparing for Jee mains and advance by giving your best you will definitely get the seat in trichy. Hope to see you in NIT Trichy. Best of luck!
