Hi,
Growth Hacking is a relatively new field in marketing specially focused on growth of a company. So, it is not the usual hacking roles, that a guy who knows coding does. This is field which used technology and data to improve the growth of the company. Since it comes under Marketing, more than a BTech degree, your MBA degree would be useful. You can definitely get a growth hacker role with a BTech degree, given that you have experience in this field, maybe through multiple internships. So, you need not focus specifically on CS degree or PCM.
Hello rudra Gupta,
If you want to become growth hacker, you need take on courses/education related to business analytics and business strategies, you can also learn data science with business analytics to improve your chances to build different growth hacking strategies for your business.
You need to have decent amount of knowledge about economics, crucial financial phenomenon and you need to build different projects to show your talent in solving different problems of companies with your own strategies.
And if you want to do BTECH you can choose computer science engineering as it focuses more on the application of computer and programming, PCM is for research perspective who want to pursue their higher education generally.
I hope it helps,
Best of luck
