A successful routine is the one that is adhered to diligently and with dedication.
JEE Main is an exam that will test your concepts, speed and accuracy so, it is advisable to begin as soon as you are done with your 10th standard. Join a coaching center and make time for your personal studies. Consider everything that you do in a day and analyze it to form the best schedule.
My daily schedule looked something like this:
· Devoting at least 3 to 4 hours in self-study.
· Solving problems and numericals are very important for JEE, so I kept a buffer of 2-3 hours for it.
· So many concepts that it’s hard to remember sometimes. I took at least 2 hours to revise concepts so that it got implanted in my brains.
· Now the most important part: Taking mock tests and solving previous year’s papers daily. I devoted 2 hours to it, to improve my speed and accuracy.
Yes, the schedule looks stringent but do take some down time to relax. As and when exam approaches, increase your time to revise and take mock tests, not only for improving your speed and accuracy but also to give you the necessary confidence. Analyse your mock test scores, take notes and improve upon anything that you are lagging at.
When just a month was left, I took at least one mock test on a daily basis. You will see improvements in your preparation.
All the best! May the force be with you.
