Hello,
Background of the photo can be coloured or black no problem in that.Your photo must be of passport size.It should have your name and date printed at the bottom.It should be the latest photo of yours.It should be clear and without goggles or cap,however the spectacles are allowed.For more details you can visit jee mains website.

- The photograph has to be colored and of passport size with name and date on it
- The dimensions should be 3.5*4.5 cm
- Maximum image size should be of 40KB and should be jn JPG or JPEG format.
- One should not have photograph with hats, caos, goggles on the face.
- Face should be distinct and clearly visible.
You can compress the inage size if its dimensions are too high.
Recorrect form can be made available till 1st January 2018 only so fill all details wisely.
