This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in nit as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , under other state gender neutral to get computer science engineering , closing rank in nit trichy for different categories is provided below:-

General/open 781

OBC ncl 242

ST 51
In above data , rank for general /open represents crl while rank for rest of the categories represent category rank

So, for open state, for obc category 242 was closing obc rank , and 242 obc rank is around 1000 common rank i. e around 99.91 percentile which is around 260 marks as per predictor at

So, you must target at least 260 marks .
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination etc so

The cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper,no.of seats availability etc.but based on previous year analysis and data,considering tamil nadu as homestate ,for obc category the last year cutoff is 2008 by rank.which means atleast 99 by percentile or 99+. with marks 160+.
