Dear Ishu
OBC candidates are required to get at least 40th percentile in JIPMER MBBS entrance exam in order to qualify for the counselling process. This means that an OBC candidate will need to score such that his/her marks come in top 40% of the candidates who will appear for JIPMER MBBS 2018.
It is not possible to exactly predict the cutoff marks since it depends upon the difficulty level of exam, number of aspirants, etc. However, you may get an idea of the same from previous year cutoff matrix. In 2016, the qualifying marks for JIPMER, i.e. equivalent marks of JIPMER OBC Cuotff (40th percentile) was 76 marks out of 200.
You may target a score of above 110, in order to ensure that as an OBC candidate you attain the required cutoff percentile of JIPMER 2018.
You may benefit from knowing that there is no negative marking in JIPMER MBBS 2018 . Knowing JIPMER MBBS exam pattern 2018 will help you in preparing for the same and aim for score in top 40%.
I hope it helps. All the best!
