What should be the study plan for a dropper for neet after 12th ???...how can a dropper become a topper..???
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Also have good command over physics, as it is the subject which is rank deciding. Practise it daily. Try reading ncert book of chemistry. Because lots of its solved examples are repeated frequently in neet ug. I would also recommend you to join a good coaching and test series so that you be regular with your studies and would judge your performance with respect to your peers. Good luck.
Hi! I took a year drop to prepare for NEET and I followed this regime:
1. Focus on your weak subjects first give it more time and priority.
2. Do more papers and questions and learn from your mistakes.
3. It would be helpfull if you join a good coaching institute as the competition around you will help you realize where you stand and push you to work harder. The teachers' advice is also very helpfull at this point
4. Keep revising imp. Topics regularly.
5. Make a handbook consisting of all the formulae, reactions and imp. points chapterwise for every subject. It is helpful during last minute revision.
6. Make flowcharts and diagrams for easier learning and longer retention.
7. Be thorough with your NCERT and then move onto additional learning for those extra marks ;)
Don't feel morosed or depressed and call yourself a dropper. You have the potential to get into MBBS and that's why you have thought of preparing solely for NEET for a year.
So now, for Biology -- NCERT thorough reading is necessary. Refer to Mtg's Rapid Biology if NCERT is coevered.
Physics- NCERT + MTG + Arrihant books
Chemistry - NCERT + MTG + Arrihant books
Practice MCQs from any books that are available in the market..
All the best!!
Well... first of all you should read NCERT biology book thoroughly as 90-95% questions of NEET- are from there. Make your concept clear and keep practising the previous year questions papers that will make you understand the pattern of questions. If possible, join any coaching institute and give periodic tests to evaluate your preparation.
All the best dear.
