What should be written in "Statement Of Purpose(SOP)", am applying for M.Tech. program in IIT Indore?

Statement of Purpose is a detailed document that talks about why you want to get admission to a certain programme. this might include, how you cultivated interest in a certain field, how your surroundings, incidences, reading list played an important role in making you the best candidate for a particular programme. It also includes your future vision after the completion of the course. This way your application can attract the most attention and better impression.

Two more things I want to ask that,
1: what should be the length of SOP?
2: There was a particular question that " What is your plan to meet expenses for this program?"
So what will be the appropriate answer for this one?
