First of all, don't get demotivated after scoring low in the NEET exam. It happens with lots of other students. If you are scoring low marks in NEET you can go for admission to a private college but the major problem in a private college is fees. The fees are someway around 60-70 lakhs which is the biggest hurdle. Or another thing which you could do is you can take a drop and do rigorous preparation for one more year to get admission to a government college.

And there is one more thing which you can do, you can opt for other science courses as well like Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology, Bachelor of Respiratory Therapy, etc according to your interest.

If you have scored less marks in NEET Examination, and if you think you won't be able to make it into Government Medical College for MBBS then there are various other options.

----- Cut off for MBBS in Private Medical Colleges and in Deemed Universities is comparatively less such as in the Shri Satya Sai Medical College and RI, Kancheepuram (Deemed University) cut off is as low as 173 marks, but fees for the MBBS course is quite high, so if fees isn't a problem for you then you can get admission in Deemed universities.

-------- Further you can also take admission in BDS - Dental Science ,various Aayush courses such as BAMS, BHMS etc, BVSc and AH - Veterinary Science and BPT - Physiotherapy. Cut off for these colleges too are comparatively low than MBBS colleges.

------- There are various other paramedical courses such as Diploma and Graduation in Laboratory Technology etc. If you wish to remain in medical field.

------ Also you can choose a whole new field leaving the medical line, there are various other opportunity too. You can complete graduation and appear for Government exams such as UPSC, CDS - Indian Defence Forces, GATE etc.
