dear aspirant, both these branches are very much differnet form each other. considering first the scope of biotechnology, in this you use technical aids and products for betterment of people and fighting of diseases. while if we talk about BAMS course you deal with medical sciences generally ayurvedic system. so think wisely before choosing your branch. as if considering the future scope i would be little inclined towards biotechnology engineering.
It depends on your interest.
Biotechnology is much more mathematical.
It involves physics concepts . Application of engineering in medical fields .
I feel go for biotechnology if it interests you
There is good scope in foreign .
Whereas
Bams is also a challenge mostly biological field and sciences you study

Hello!
Both courses are good. It depends upon your choice and interest.
In my opinion, BAMS is a good option as there is a wider career scope:-
good luck:)
dear candidate,
India is still in a budding stage of biotechnology hence the job prospects are not that high but it is there and more so if you go in south india or out of india. if you are good at maths and want to go in research work then btech biotech is a pretty good option. in bams the study is as rigorous as mbbs but you will most probably have to set up your own practice and a doctor never goes out of business, just it takes a good amount of years to set up and be known in public. rest depends upon you.
