In ABVIIITM, CSE degree till a few days ago had a two pronged approach. After the first few semesters, depending on your CGPA, you will be diverted to MTech or MBA. It's a dual degree in ABVIIITM, I hope you know. And higher CGPA-wala students get into MTech, lower ranked people go into MBA. So you should be careful about maintaining your CGPA all along. And remember ABVIIITM in G is one of the best for CSE.
MNIT Jaipur offers the most no. of branches among all the NITs (most probably the same is true about the IIT in Bhubaneswar also. Interesting similarity!!). And as a college, it's not that much far behind as some people may think it to be. Mechanical as a branch is also not bad. If you consider placements, in a large no. of cases, CSE gives you money a little bit quickly, that's why there's so much hype around CSE. Mechanical, electrical or civil as carreer options give you the same, but a little bit slowly. But these are evergreen branches.
