IT and CSE are different branches and they have lot of scope in both fields but comparatively CSE have a lots more scope due to it's development in today's world. IT also have it's scope but less than CSE. If asked about vnr vjit and vasavi college then both are the kne of the reputed colleges for engineering. Vasavi is affiliated with osmania university but vnrvjit was ranked 109th by NIRF MHRD government of india for engineering. So go for vnrvjit if you choose IT.

For CSE you have  placements offers in the cvr rather than it the college atmosphere and infrastructure and faculty are good. If you are really interested in CSE. Go for it.
