Hello dear, after graduation with bsc chemistry,
Chemistry, students can either opt for advanced studies or search for jobs in the related fields. There are plenty of opportunities which exist for the chemists in the present scenario. Almost every field in the world use chemicals as a part in some or other ways. So the need for chemists also is in high demand.
There are several specializations in the field of chemistry from which a student can choose for their higher studies, i.e. in the master degree courses. The options for higher studies are
M.Sc. Chemistry
M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry
M.Sc. Drug Chemistry
M.Sc. Organic Pharmaceutical Chemistry
M.Sc. Physical & Materials Chemistry
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Job Opportunities to pursue after B.Sc Chemistry
Most of the industries nowadays use the chemicals in everything directly or indirectly like in food products, pharmaceuticals, electronic products or in construction. This creates opportunities for the talented chemistry graduates, since they have the in-depth knowledge about various chemicals, compositions and their properties. The government laboratories, universities or colleges and the industries, mainly chemical and pharmaceutical, are the three major sectors which recruit the chemistry graduates. For the entry level jobs in these fields, graduates need at least a bachelors degree in chemistry. But for the senior positions like in research, they need PhD in the same. Other career choices for them lie in the oil, gas and power sectors.
All the best!!
