With Maths as your background, you are eligible for almost 70% of basic jobs offered in market and government sectors. If you are interested in pursuing Msc then you can, because it increases your job prospect but you must try doing it from reputed national colleges like IISc, IITs or other national universities. They have good placement records and you may be offered a handsome salary too.

i want to do msc in chemistry but i want specialization there...computation chemistry or drug chemistry i guess..i want to know which field in chemistry has good placements ???

Drug chemistry has higher market values because of Indian pharmaceutical dominance worldwide for generic drugs. Companies like Ranbaxy and Sun invest the highest in R&D and also have the highest patents in our country. So drug research is great job.

The eligibility criteria varies university wise so it's hard to say that to you. I would recommend you to take to your chemistry professor in your college. He/she shall surely guide you through the process.
