If you are talking about State Counselling, once you are allotted a college, 4 options will pop up.

1. Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat need to fill in the Status Retention form and submit it to the allotted college.

2 Candidates who are satisfied with the seat but want to participate in further rounds should select Option 2.

3. Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seat but are willing to participate in further rounds should select Option 3.

4.Candidates who are not satisified with the allotted seat and do not want to continue further should select Option 4.

So if you have chosen upgradation option which is Choice 3, you should first report to the allotted college and then participate in the next round of counsellings.

Hello,

According to your query, if you are willing to join the college then you should freeze your seat and visit the reporting centre to accept the college alloted and you don't need to go for upgradation of college..

But in case you are not satisfied with the college, then you wouldnm opt for the upgradation option...

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
