Hello Aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well.
If the government has issued you with a valid caste certificate signed by a competent authority, you are entitled for reservation benefits.
Before applying for an examination, a candidate from the SC/ST category should ensure that he or she meets all of the conditions that apply to him or her, failing which his or her candidature may be revoked.
The following are the specifics of these criteria:
I The SC/ST certificate must be dated prior to the application deadline or the cut-off date specified in the notification for the examination in question.
(ii) The SC/ST certificate must follow a specific format.
The appropriate authority should issue the SC/ST certificate.
(iv) The signature, stamp, or office seal of the issuing authority should appear on the SC/ST certificate. However, in the event of a digital certificate, if a declaration dispensing any of the foregoing requirements (Physical Signature/Stamp/Office Seal) has been made in the certificate, the requisition shall be dispensed with to the extent of the declaration.
(v) If relevant, a Migration Clause/Para shall be included in the SC/ST certificate.
(vi) Personal information should be as stated on the candidate's Matriculation/School Leaving Certificate, comparable certificate, etc.(vii) The name of the caste/tribe on the SC/ST certificate must match the Central List exactly.
(viii) The SC/ST certificate should include the applicable Government of India resolution for the caste/tribe to which the candidate belongs.
(ix) The "ordinarily resides" para on the SC/ST certificate should be included, and the same should be included on the SC/ST certificate.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
Thank you
