The situation mentioned by you is a bit dicy one so you should keep your steps very carefully and think logically what would be more beneficial to you. Sit with your parents and discuss for what is to be done .

As per my opinion if you do not have financial problem and you can give the donation money . Then you should book that seat. Because there is no guarantee that you will get the seat through state counselling or not.

If you got through state counselling then kindly tell the other college that you won't be joining the college so kindly refund the donation amount.
