If you have passed Class 12 HS with PCB/M, you can apply for Biotechnology course. You may have to appear for university/institute specific entrance examinations to apply for admission to Biotechnology course. However, some universities like Christ University also take direct admission based on merit as per the marks in qualifying examination i.e. Class 12 marks.

You can apply for a BSc/B.Tech Biotechnology programme at a number of colleges, universities, and institutes. Some institutes include IITs, GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi; Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai; Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi; GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology; Banaras Hindu University; National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar; SRM University, Tamil Nadu; Jaypee University of Information Technology; Amity University; Christ University, etc.
Hope it answers. All the best!
