1. State ENtrance Exam: We also have State Engineering Entrance Exams, which are conducted by respective state govt universities. Passing the particular state exam allows you to take admission into any college affiliated by respective state govt university.
Ex- AKTU is the state Govt University of Uttarpradesh and accepts scores of JEE mains as well its state entrance test which called UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination).
2. Private Universities: One more option is Private Universities which conducts their own entrance for Engineering. Though their fee structure is high.
Private Universities generally have no set criteria of percentage. Whereas govt universities have generally minimum 50% mandatory in 12th PCM ,Private Universities dont have this criteria. So if you are ready to pay a good amount as college fee this is one more option.
3. Govt universities also allows private colleges to keep some percentage of seats on which they can take direct admission. These are called Management Quota seats, on which taking admission doesnt require any entrance test. Here some colleges charge extra fee for these seats and some not.
So dont worry if you miss JEE any year, you still have chance to sit in for your states entrance test for engineering.
Thanks :)
1. Suppose if you have taken your state level engineering colleges exams and you are getting any rank, then that will be a good option.
2.If you have given WBJEE examinations or ORISSAJEE Examinations , and you are qualifying for the available seats then go for it, but try to choose few good colleges there ,as there are number of useless colleges.
P.S.- As your question is Incomplete ,Try to give the complete information like state, exams you have given this year and the ranks you are expecting etc.
So All the best fir your future.
Many exam are there. Be calm and be cheer full
