drop out this year. pgai next year repare well for AIEEE and attempt again next year
And bring very good marks by working very hard.
Remember this are just some opportunities that have slipped and there are many more to come.
I passed high school in 2014, scored 79% in ISC board and 70 in Jee mains. I couldn't get get any college by far, and the only options I had were local third tier colleges. Just like you, I didn't want such a college out of the fear of insults. For a month I was totally distraught. So I know what you are feeling. Exactly almost.
Later I put my head down, and prepared for JEE again. And now I'm studying at NIT Raipur. The humiliation you're thinking about, is just there for a day or two, not more than that. And you can take it, you have to. So if you want a better career, you can drop a year and prepare. Appear for improvement in board exams.
Or, you can take admission in any engineering college, and pursue your passion religiously. It's easier if you're interested in programming, just like I am. As you can prove your mettle even if you are at a not so good institution.
Hope I helped. And if you have any other queries, ask them in the comments.
The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.
It means aggregate percentage in physics chemistry and maths should be 75 %
and no less than 60 marks in each (it means if you have aggregate 75% but less than 60 marks in any of pcm then it will not do )
So the meaning is clear (regarding 2017 admissions)
