There are total three ways to become astronomer in India.
Student can do 12-Science. Then complete B.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics. Further you can Proceed with M.Sc in Physics. Further you can Proceed with Ph.D.in Physics (Crack CSIR-UGC-NET examination) and can become astronomer.
Student can do 12-Science. Then complete B.Tech Computer Science. Further you can Proceed with M.Tech/M.Sc in Physics/ Astrophysics and can become astronomer in India.
Student can do 12th Maths. Then complete B.Sc in Physics. Further you can Proceed with M.Sc Physics/Astronomy/Astrophysics. Further you can Proceed with Join Astronomy program and Ph.D and become astronomer in India.
