To become a singer  you have to improve and develop a certain amount of expertise regarding singing. So you can join for music classes at the earliest.

If you are in your school then several boards offer Music as a subject to be studied in the curriculum. You choose Music as a subject if it is offered.

Now after your 12th you can pursue Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a specialization in Vocal Music.

Once you comlete your undergraduate level then at the postgraduate level, you can take up the 2-years Masters of Arts course in Vocal Music.

After post-graduation, if you are interested and have a passion for it then you can go for further studies like M.Phil and research in Music.

If you want to be a great singer, then the most important thing is that you have to work on your singing skills.  Now you can go for learning music well. There are some of the best institutes in India which you can go for if you want to take part in. But this is not the only way. The essence of music is always in the singers vocals. So you should be very much sincere about practicing and improvising music and if you can you can use the social media platforms to learn as well as to give a publicity to your musical work.
