See the curriculum will teach you some topics but you will have to learn many on your own and it is doable. Most software engineers learn so many things like that so I suggest you join IT first. Then check the leading job profiles, talk to the placement cell people, seniors to gauge which languages you ought to be learning and start learning those. Use the internet for all study material. You can check nptel - it is free and run by IITs as well as Corsera to start off. But first do your own research as no one can do that for you. Do small projects in the languages you learn and when the time for placements comes, you will be ready for it. All the best!

Information Technology, Computer Science is both interchangeable in today's modernizing world. After option IT, you can still have a wide opportunity in Software Engineer field. You have to be proficient in programming languages like C, C++, Java, and others.
You should have skills required to be a Software Engineer, rest is done in Tech Industry.
All the Best!
