If you are willing to get admission into NITs for UG course then you have to appear for an entrance exam called jee mains.It is conducted every year.It's pattern is:

No. of questions:90(30 each from pcm)

Duration:3 hours

Negative marking:1 mark for each incorrect answer

You have to also score atleast an aggregate marks of 75% in class 12th board exams or to be under top 20 percentile of your respective board to be eligible for admission in NITs.
