Dear Yash, Questions asked in Verbal section might be of 3 types like reading comprehension, text completion and sentence equivalence. Across each section, you either have to read a passage and answer the questions accordingly or read a passage, interpret the message and answer questions on those pages. So to start off, you wil have to develop reading as a habit and comprehending what you are reading. So you should be ideally good at reading between the lines because for you to interpret a sentence, you need to understand in depth. For example when they say "Taking from Peter to pay Paul" it means taking a loan to repay a loan. So, these are certain things that you need to learn. You should be able to read the sentence, understand its meaning, distinguish between minor and major points and draw conclusions. You need to be able to reason as to how you interpreted certain incomplete information in a way you have done. Understand the author's presumptions in a certain passage and draw an analysis from the same. You need to develop alternate explanations. Learn vocabulary and read as much as you can.
