CODE: 01 is for the number 1.
Also eligible to apply and compete in the Competitive Entrance Examination are individuals who have appeared or are appearing in a qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the primary subjects.
CODE: 02 is for the number 2.
After completing their 12th grade exam, students who have no college degree programme are eligible to apply.
So, sunanda you have to select code 02 in your neet application paper.
"Information Bulletin" on the official website of NTA should be carefully read before submitting the application form for NEET-UG 2021.

The candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with the required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination.
CODE : 02 is for
Those candidates who have completed their 12th exam and are not in any undergraduate program.
I suggest you to visit the official website of NTA i.e. , neet.nta.nic.in and read carefully the content given in " Information Bulletin" before filling the application form for NEET-UG 2021.

You need to choose the code 02.
This is because,
You are a dropper means you have already passed your 10+2.
And
code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/ higher /senior secondary / Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English
While, those who have passed 1st year of graduation with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

--------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.
--------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English
