what should i write in name of the university if I didn't study from a university and my college is an autonomous college and there is only one space to mention ,I need to either the university madras university or my college name.for tiss ma application form

Even if it's an autonomous institution it will be affiliated to a University or board so you have to mention the name of the university your institution is affiliated to. As per the information given in the query it is understood that your institution is affiliated to Madras University if that is the case you should mention the name of University as Madras University in the application form you are filling.
