What should my selected category be, BC or UR, when applying for Bihar counselling if I belong to OBC (Creamy Layer)?

Hello candidate !!

You should select your category as UR during counselling for the following reasons -

1) Applying through any other caste reservation will cause discrepancies and can push you into trouble .

2 ) Belonging to OBC creamy layer doesn't give you any reservation .

Dear candidate ,

Obc stands for other backward caste .For you to apply in Bihar if you belong to obc you should fill BC backward caste as the obc is divided into BC and EBC (economically backward class)based on the income in Bihar.

Please do not fill UR as you would lose the benefit of being one category.Fill BC or EBC depending upon the family income.
