what should one chose between btech in food technology and bsc in microbiology??

The simple answer is what are you interested in? While it is imperative that food technology has better job prospects but it might be possible that you are more inclined towards microbiology. Having said that, microbiology also has good job prospects. In the end it all comes down to choosing what you like.
