What should one focus more on in last 15 days of gate ...mock tests or formulas and previous year questions

Last days of the approaching gate exam are very crucial and you need to be very careful and specific about what you read during this period and how you use this time. In my opinion, it is more advantageous to focus on formulae and previous year questions than the mock tests. This is because formulae, if on your fingertips, will help you save a great deal of time when solving the actual gate paper. And the previous year questions will give you a clear cut view and understanding of the pattern, the kind of questions asked and also clear various concepts before the examination. Mock tests help us in improving our speed and accuracy and thus prepare us for facing the real examination. Thus they should not be completely ignored during last 15 days. It wouldn not hurt you attempt one or two mock tests every two days as this will keep you in touch with the pattern and also with the technique of attempting questions.

So it will be helpful to focus a little bit on both things so as to create a proper balance.

Hello Isha, for the last 15 days preparation of GATE Exam one should focus on everything you mentioned.

on the first 2 days revise all the formulas and concepts if possible

for the next 6 days practise mock tests and next 5 days see and practise all the potential questions from the previous year question papers and the last 2 days revise formulas and do not stress

relax and revise things in the last 2 days, do not practise any new questions
