What should we do after the verification of documents and downloading the seat acceptance letter? I selected the freeze option because I am satisfied with the college and branch. and I verified all the documents and I got the verification cum seat acceptance letter. Is there anything remaining?

The following are the steps to be followed if you are allotted a seat in round 1 of JoSAA counselling
- Download the Provisional Seat Allocation Letter and accept the seat and opt for Freeze, Float, Slide.
- Upload the requisite documents
- Pay the acceptance fee. Seat acceptance fee for candidates belonging to SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN- EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD category is Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 35,000 for all other candidates (the fee includes Rs. 2000 JoSAA processing charges).
- Respond to the queries if raised by the verification officer within the stipulated time.
After accepting the seat and uploading the documents you need to pay the seat acceptance fee. If you haven't paid you need to pay it as specified for the category you belong to using Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card or State Bank of India e-challan. After payment of seat acceptance fee login to check if you need to respond to any query from time to time. If you do not pay the seat acceptance fee the seat allotted will be cancelled and you will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds.
