Hi there,
A psychology intern joins an acadmic program and performs some clinical work under a licensed psychologist . A intern learns under supervision and get opportunity to apply theory into practical world. During internship, intern work on various skills,do research and assessment to provide better care to patients.
An internship may last from 2 months to 2 years based on filed on internship.
You don't have to pay anything for internship. Infact you will get stipend during internship.
