First of all you need to enter into these jobs which you have mentioned above like for army and military and promotion is done in the working period itself but for State Police and NDA exams you need to crack exams that are very tuff and the post you will get after cracking is itself huge. There are also certain exams that are for higher grade often require higher qualification too so that is what you need to understand and decide where you actually want to go.
