Greetings,
There are as many prospects as you imagination can conjure. Some involve the same field and some involve a change of field. I'll mention a few popular options here:
- job in PSUs or M.tech through GATE examination
this is the most popular option amongst electrical engineers as PSU jobs are highly reputable and offer so many facilities till you retire, otherwise you can go for M.tech from IITs or NITs through GATE scores and there you have an opportunity to either improve you skills and find a job at a firm that works in your field of electrical engineering or go for managerial placements like that of banks, etc.
- appear for GRE and change your field abroad.
GRE is for studies in the USA and Canada, it offers all disciplines except for law and medicine. so you can get a good score in GRE and then do MBA or MS in your own field or MA(AM) in English literature, whatever you wish.
- Go for public service exams
like UPSC, state PSCs, or Forest services exams, you must be aware of their appeal already.
- Do some specialization
like CFA (financial expert and stock market expert), or 3 year LLB (law) from one of the fine institutes of india and practice law or opt for corporate law jobs in india or abroad.
there are many options, these were just from the top of my head.
Do some research or you can drop a comment and I'll answer your follow up queries,
good luck
Hey aspirant,
After becoming a graduate in electrical engineering you can go for various things like if you want to study more and want to do your masters then you have to give the GATE exam and if you get a rank in that exam then you'll be eligible to do your masters. If you want to get a job then you can go for campassing, and if you been selected by any other company then you'll be able to get a job.
Hope this helps you.
All the best.
