What to do if in neet application i have selected obc category but in mahrashtra state counselling form i have selected open category?

When you fill up any form, you are asked about the category under which you would like to apply for the examination. If you belong to any specific category, you are asked to attach the self attested copies of the reservation certificate that you have regarding the claim that you are making. This helps them to separate candidates according to the reservation system. This is done to ease the process of result declaration because as you know results are declared under separate categories. There will be different cut off’s for students belonging to different categories. Same applies at the time of admission.If Students have any query regarding Admit Card or their Result make sure that you have details like Application No, NTA NEET Roll No, DOB Details with yourself.

When you go for the counselling, they have your details regarding the examination. According to my knowledge of present system, your Applicantion might get rejected when they will come to know you didnt put your correct category as it is against the rules. however you may ask them at @ www.nta.ac.in
