Try to read related topics other than that in your course as for example in CSE a lots of trending technology is there such as Hadoop cloud ansible etc so look according to your branch

In every branch you can get a better placement.
Totally depends upon you how you developed yourself and what will you learn during engineering
In every branch placement is divided
i.e. package above average
Average
And below average.
But if you compare money obviously in computer science and
IT .
But it's depend upon your interest you can do anything in anybranch.
You can earn a better life in every branch.
Civil and mechanical engineering will provide you a platform to go in civil service.

Focus on your GPA . Maintain your GPA score and try to improve your aptitude and english . And your final year project plays a key role in placements . Try to make a good project.
