For innovation of new computer framework and hardware you must have good knowledge of embedded design and Microprocessor and hence you can either opt for Computer science engineering or Electronic engineering which shall cover Indepth knowledge of power systems, computer software and hardware integration, microprocessor and Microcontroller, Chip Design and Fabrication etc.
