What type of questions asked in neet exam
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
books on dinesh kumar 133 legally with a forensic is charles but if you want to know precisely about what table questions you need to practice for the examination than let's be specific about the following subjects
- in physics you will mostly be questioned up on problems which may be algebric or numerical. From mechanics you may be asked diagram based questions or theoretical problems with algebraic values and the determinant answer might be a part of the four options which is given which you will have to solve after doing the calculations applying particular formulae which you can master through sufficient practice of the books I have stated above. You me get circuit diagram based problems from current electricity, modern physics and electromagnetism including problems on inductance capacitance and resistance circuits. Shorthand problems on sound and light are often rampant with examples of refraction and diffraction being a part of questions based on diagrammatic approaches on lenses and mirrors as a part of wave optics apart from simple numericals of lens maker formula.
- in chemistry the usual type of questions which are asked would depend on whether they are numericals or unit based MCQs from physical chemistry paying special attention to atomic structure based problems within you need to fit the number of electrons in to the respective valence shells of given hypothetical elements
- organic chemistry will expose you to your knowledge of organic nomenclature as well as reaction sequences and mechanism where in a particular compound, reaction sequence may be missing and you would need to fill up or you might need to indicate which product will be formed as a result of which reaction and really you might be questioned about the catalyst of a particular important reaction
- inorganic chemistry will basically test your knowledge about specific reactions of s, p, d and f block elements with a particular product of reactant of cattle is missing and you having to indicate the type or exact substance which is missing from the given equation or situation although few great problems on metallurgical facts me also be rampant
- in biology the type of questions are very diverse because they may extend from simple one liners on environmental biology or scientists to picture based questions on Microbiology and botany to concept based questions which include "which of the following is true or false" or "all of the following are true / false except" answer questions usually frequently asked on the chapters of phylogenetic classification of animal kingdom, animal physiology and biomolecules where is the questions on genetics and recombinant DNA technology will more or less be factual and straight
- to submit all of the exact pattern of questions cannot be determined but to give you a basic idea of what type of questions you might confront you might solve sum of the MCQ books has stated above or be a part of the all India MCQ test series arrange by Aakash or Allen so as to grade and rank yourself all the does not predict your Neet rank exactly but gives you fair ideas to where you stand at the national level and you can work upon your weaknesses and strengthen your photo accordingly minimising your negative marking and maximizing your potential in the examination.
Hey!!!
Thanks for contacting career360
There are a total if 180 questions. 90 from biology , 45 from chemistry and 45 from physics.
You should cover ncert for biology as almost all questions come from ncert. From Chemistry, inorganic part would be from ncert. 5 to 6 ques from inorganic would be tough. Physical chemistry would be easy. ANd organic part is mixed of easy and difficult questions. And for Physics numericals are the core part. If you are clear with your concepts you can do well!!!
wish you luck
