The cutoff will be lower and than plain areas and there are some colleges too that provide the hilly area reservation but that is very few and some colleges are even there that provide the reservation to Jammu and Kashmir Students and there are many colleges that provide reservation on basis of these marks. The cutoff is different for different colleges and for different states so it depends on some colleges in a particular state. I would like to suggest you that first check for the colleges in which you can take admission. First, check the colleges of the home state as you can also get admission in home state quota too and that will be really very helpful.
