What was the cut off for private seat in a Medical college for General merit in Karnataka (7 lakh PA fee)???
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The seats were filled by KCET results before but from 2017 onwards seats are filled according to NEET results.
Basically the cut off will depend on the your domicile, if you are from karnataka , they have few government seats in private colleges at fees of 60k-1 lakh per annum.
If you are from other states you'd be eligible for private seats on basis of general merit.
The fees is around 6-7 lakhs in all priavate colleges of karnataka under rguhs(Governing body). In this good colleges like kempogowda institute of medical science, father muller medical college, M.S institute of medical science are included.
The score of 540+ in NEET 2020 will fetch you a private seat in karnataka at 7 lakh p.a. which coressponds to ranks around 10k-25k as the cut off was high last year.
Ultimately your targert right now should be on focussing on 540+ and daily revisions. The cut offs might vary due to the COVID19 situation right now.
Hello,
For open quota the last rank for private seat in Karnataka was alloted to student securing 24000 rank in Neet and was alloted Vaidehi Institute of medical Science.
