The Resume and its format would be determined by the institute. Because a large number of candidates must be interviewed using a standard format saves time while emphasizing the most important aspects of the individual.
It is not a resume in the traditional sense but rather an application form. You must be extremely confident and knowledgeable about any topic you wish to discuss in it. The interview panelists can be experts in any field, and superficial responses can be disastrous.
