Greetings aspirant!
Preparing for any competitive exam require dedication and it is completely on you how dedicated and motivated you can be. I can only tell you tips and tricks, but actually following those tips is in your hand.
1) you should make a schedule/timetable so that your time is divided equally between school/college work. Know your exam syllabus well.
2) do smart work rather than hardwork, focus on topics which are important and Don't try to rote learn everything rather try to understand the concept.
3) joining a coaching centre helps as you get to be competitive.
4) don't study at odd time, if you are comfortable in studying at night than study at night if you are a day learner than study in day, don't compromise your sleep.
5) at last it always depend on you. How passionate you are to crack this exam and how dedicated you are it's in your hand.
