Hello,

It is not that you need to have a particular stream after class 10th to prepare for UPSC exam, you can choose whatever branch you are interested in as it won't matter to appear in UPSC exam, you just need to have a graduation degree to appear in UPSC exam, so take the stream you feel you can do better at, or the stream you feel you can also prepare for your exam with, the basic eligibility to appear is you just need to have a graduation degree in any stream.

Hope this helps, all the best.

Hey!

You can any stream in 11th and 12th ( medical, non-medical, commerce or arts/humanities). then you nees to complete your undergraduation degree n stream. And then you can write UPSC (three stages mains, prelims and interview). And as per your performance you will be given a chance to become IAS, IPS, IRS etc.

Thankyou
