As you asked for the better career options after the Diploma in Engineering so, you can definitely do good career progression if you do courses which are required and accepted and wanted by the industry. If you do courses in which you learn what the industry requires and demands, then your career will be going very good, stable and growing.
There are many options after Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you can go a job immediately, however the job will be very low paying, and you won't be wanting that . And there are many students who opt for engineering after  diploma as the package you will get in diploma are low . You also get direct entry into the second year of engineering in BE. This is also a very good option and highly recommended to become a graduate engineer instead of remaining just a diploma holder. After you complete your engineering degree, you can get average jobs with average salary packages since the industry today does not give high salaries to fresh graduate engineers.
