Now coming to your question, so if we observe last year(2020) Percentile vs Rank for EWS category then, 98.5 percentile was fetching an EWS rank around 2400, and with 99 percentile, it was around 1600.
On the basis of above analysis we can come to conclusion that with 98.96-8221 percentile your EWS rank will be somewhere between 1600-2400 because we can't give you a very sharp and narrow figure as cutoff depends on various factors like Number of students appearing in the exam, total number of seats, difficulty level of paper and so on.
