Hi Sumnath,
After completing MS in Aeronautical Engineering, you can get into different industries; both government and private. Depending on the college you have completed MS from, your background and your skills, you maybe able to land on a package ranging from 30K$-90K$ per annum. You may get into aircraft industries, NASA, Indian Space and Research Organisation and many private aeronautical companies.
Wish you all the best.
Hello Sumanth
None. Indians cannot jobs in 99% of the Aerospace sector in the US due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). Those rules even kick in at foreign branches of US companies (such as Boeing in Australia or the UK) as it is tedious to get you approved for each project they are working on (and you are not cleared to view the drawings/plans).
There is 0% scope to join these companies : Boeing, Airbus, RR, NASA, Raytheon, Honeywell, Titan Aerospace, SpaceX etc. Getting jobs even in civil aviation might be hard if not impossible. You might be able to get a job with software manufacturers such as Ansys/3DS etc but that’s a gamble (and I didn’t want such a job).
In some special cases, if someone has an advanced degree (usually a PhD) and an area of specialization that makes them an extraodinary talent, American companies may take on both the cost, and compliance headache of qualifying a foreign national for a special access ITAR license for someone who is not a US person (citizen or green card holder), to work on ITAR sensitive technologies.
