NEET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 6 May 2018 in the various cities across India. NEET result will be announced on5thJune 2018and after that, the category-wise cut-off list will be released.



NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)is an important entrance exam for all medical aspirants as it is compulsory to qualify this exam in order to get admission into MBBS/BDS course in the various government and private medical colleges/ institutions in India.





Cut-off marks are the minimum number of marks a candidate needs to qualify the exam. Candidates scoring marks above the cut-off marks will be able to qualify the exam. It will be tough for the candidates to find a seat in medical college who will score below the cut-off marks. The cut-off for NEET sometimes is released in the form of percentile.



Cut-off depends on various factors. Below we have shared the parameters on the basis of which cut-marks list is prepared for various categories-

  • Generally:          684- 143


  • OBC:                 678- 117


  • SC:                     590- 118


  • ST:                     595- 118


  • UR- Physically Handicap:      475- 132


  • ST- PH:            338- 117


  • SC- PH:            414- 117


  • OBC- PH:         338- 116


It is an expected cut-off mark which is prepared on the basis of previous year data and current years NEET statistics. Actual cut-off marks list may vary.
