Hello dear

That's a tough and a little tricky question as cut off depends on number of factors like number of students that appeared in exam and kind of marks scored by students.

But after looking past year trends I found that it is generally around 120 marks for general category and around 100 marks for remaining categories i.e obc, sc , st.

But this year's neet paper was quite easy so I think this year cut off may get a hike , and according to me it would be around 130 to 140 for general category and yes please remember its just a prediction,  no one can give you exact cut off now .

Thankyou

Please feel free to ask your further queries if any.

National Test Agency (NTA) will release the NEET Cut off along with the declaration of NEET result on June 5. As per last year NEET cut off, candidates belonging to UR category are required to score at least 119 marks (out of 720) in order to qualify Neet 2019, while OBC/SC/ST category candidates need a minimum of 96 marks to qualify.

  • According to the experts, this year the cut off will not see any substantial upward trend as the paper complexity level remained similar to the previous years

NEET 2019 Result will be based on the official answer keys released by NTA.

  • Those who clear the cut off will have to register for NEET Counselling 2019 scheduled from second week of June, 2019
  • CBSE uses percentile method as the NEET cut off. The percentile can be calculated by the following method:

    • Suppose, you have scored Rank 50 in NEET and the total number of students appeared are 6, 00,000.
    • The percentile will be: [600000-50)/600000] X 100 = 99.99
  • You need to get 50 percentile for admission in Medical/Dental colleges.

Goodluck for your future.
