Hello there.

The Cut off and merit lists for NTSE Stage 1 of the state of Madhya Pradesh for session 2018-2019 would be released soon around the second week of February 2019. The official dates aren't out yet. You are suggested to keep an eye on the official website to not miss any important updates.

Though predicting cutoffs are very difficult as the cut off depends upon the difficulty level of paper, the number of candidates writing the examination etc., still looking at previous years trends might give you a rough idea of the future cut off.

For NTSE 2017-2018, the cutoffs were:

General - 135

Schedule Caste- 110

Schedule Tribes- 91

Physically Handicapped - 78

For NTSE 2016-2017, the cutoffs were:

General - 127

Schedule Caste- 100

Schedule Tribes- 86

Physically Handicapped -83

For NTSE 2015-2016, the cutoffs were:

General - 131

Schedule Caste- 107

Schedule Tribes- 93

Physically Handicapped - 85

Use these trends in scores to estimate the cut off for the current session.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

If the total marks are 200 in place of 150 then you could estimate the cut off by the percentage of cut off of previous years. In 2017-2018, for general category, 90% was the cut off, In 2016-2017, for general category, 85% was the cut off, and in 2015-2016, for general category, 87% was the cut off. Hence, more than 90% might be the cut off for the session of 2018-2019. Also, the second week of February would end of 14th February, and today is 11th February, the third week would be starting from 21st February. You should be patient and wait for the results. Keep checking the official websites for official dates.
