Hi Hanan,
OSC category is used to get admission in MBBS/BDS/AYUSH in UT of Jammu and Kashmir. In Jammu and Kashmir there is different cutoff for boys and girls because 50% of the total seats are distributed among female candidates. Also in NEET 2020 reservation for OSC category was 2%, from this year new reservation policy will be applicable to get admission in MBBS/BDS/AYUSH. So according to new reservation policy 4% of the total seats will be distributed among OSC category candidates. Cutoff also depends on the number of candidates with a particular category.
In NEET 2020, a male candidate with a score of 523 got admission in MBBS and a female candidate with a score of 459 also got admission in MBBS.
Now talking about NEET 2021, 1173 students scored above 500 which is huge as compared to last year. According to me if you are a male candidate with a score of 520 above, you are definitely safe. Similarly, a female candidate with a score of 470 can also consider herself safe.
